STI
1 Rubber Bellows
Mechanical seal Features:

- Machined parts
- Robust Single spring
- Non-Clogging
- Rotating face fixed, it will not fall out during installation
- Torque driven no set screws required
- Full convolute bellows , allows greater axial
movement/ radial runout
- Upgraded materials to prevent corrosion and premature wear
- Seal is designed to absorb both breakout and running torque
- Designed with a drive band and drive notches that eliminate
overstressing of bellows
- Friction driven by the bellows to eliminated slippage,
protecting the shaft and sleeve from wear and scoring
- Self-Aligning Capability compensates for abnormal shaft
end play, axial and radial runout
- Special pressure Balanced, allowing the
seals to handle higher pressures.
- All sizes are available.

STI Metal Bellows:
Mechanical seal Features:

Leader in Bellows Sealing Technology
Low-Temperature and High-Temperature bellows seals assure low
emissions and optimized Mean-Time-Between-Planned-Maintenance.
- Superior Bellows Design
These seals are manufactured with a 45 º tilt edge at
the bellows inside diameter to disperse stresses and maximize
operating life.
- Superior Plate Design
The plate design used by STI is called a nesting bellow.
With a three-sweep radius, this plate design allows the
bellows device to be flexed repeatedly without the metal
being stressed beyond its endurance limit.
- Self-Cleaning and non clogging Design
Rotating bellows will throw off suspended solids preventing
clogging. This self-cleaning action eliminates the need
for external flushing, filters or cyclone separators and
their associated costs.
- Superior class Bellows Manufacture
Our bellows production facility has an outstanding manufacturing
process with state-of-the-art stamping, welding and testing
technology.
- Application Flexibility in all conditions
A wide range of metallurgies, face combinations and packing
materials are used to seal a variety of demanding applications.
- Extensive Research and Development
The STI bellows incorporate all of the design features resulting
from key engineering competencies, such as metallic thin
shell methodology, tribology and fluid sealing technology,
and thin film/fluid mechanics.
